Larry Moore: Ronald Wilson - LB
Coaches love the leadership skills in this kid. Known among his teammates as a bit of a goofball, but never in a bad way. The kind that keeps spirits high even when a season goes south. Well schooled in tackling. Good fundamentals. In college, he dominated when bull rushing. He is strong enough that he can continue to do that in the pros. Will never become a speed rush specialist, but has sufficient speed to become a prototype Defensive End. Fits the bill, great quality pick, and fills a soft spot on the roster. They should have no qualms here, run to the podium and get your man.

Jim Nox: Ronald Wilson - LB
Need a leader? He is your guy. The guy has gets along with everyone. Makes good tackles. Could almost play Defensive End, he is that strong. Coaches love that versatility. You need to stay on him, or he will turn the edge on you. Teams want Defensive Ends that keep Offensive Tackles honest. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Pick 3: Windsor Gamblers
Larry Moore: Harvey Santiago - LB
The kind of leadership he shows makes coaches salivate. Here is a kid who no one doubts will put in the work. Respected for his good behavior on the field. Can bull rush smaller Tight Ends and Fullbacks when blitzing. Coaches love this kind on their Linebackers. Will not have a hard time digesting a pro playbook. Are there other guys worth picking here? Sure, but none of them fit this well with what they need, and he is a solid talent.

Jim Nox: Harvey Santiago - LB
Need a leader? He is your guy. This guy understands what it means to be a pro. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. This guy is pure muscle. He will shed blocks and hit he hole on run plays. Pretty smart. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Pick 4: Toronto North
Larry Moore: Sheldon Reichert - G
Teammates look to him for leadership, and he consistently delivers. Incredibly strength and physique. Execution in the running game is something coaches have noticed about him. He blocks pretty well. Pretty smart. Might not be what fans want, but there is a reason people are getting paid to make these decisions. This is a rock solid pick, and he fits what they are looking for. Fans will come around quickly once they see him play.

Jim Nox: Sheldon Reichert - G
His leadership is through the roof. He is on the frontline, always. Even though this is a youngster right out of college, he is strong like a grown man. Has nice technique when blocking on run plays. Keeps his leverage and finishes his blocks. Will not have a hard time digesting a pro playbook. It is not often that the talent available fits perfectly with what you need. When it does, it makes for a win-win situation. This young man is going to be put in a position to succeed.

Pick 5: New Orleans Reapers
Larry Moore: Glenn Sanford - WR
This is the kind of kid you want to promote the game. Well behaved, loves the game, and respectful. He has good hands. Nice speed. Will keep defenses honest. Runs pretty routes. Changes direction effortlessly. Once this kid gets in the building, they will be set at this position for years.

Jim Nox: Glenn Sanford - WR
He is fundamentally a good kid. You rarely see him commit stupid penalties. Rarely drops the ball. Add more speed to the offense. Why would you not? Elusive. can work over the middle. can work in the slot. Great balance. It is all about fit here. Is there a guy at a position of need, worthy of a pick this high? The answer, obviously, is 'heck yeah'.

Pick 6: Nova Scotia Vikings
Larry Moore: Brian Smith - SS
Every team would benefit from his leadership. Not the fastest guy, but his speed is definitely an asset. Knowledgeable of the game. Fits nicely with their needs. Fits nicely with the draft spot. Getting it right is important with these early picks. This guy is right.

Jim Nox: Brian Smith - SS
A leader on the field and in the locker room. Not the fastest guy, but his speed is definitely an asset. He was one of the smarter kids in college. You need him, just get him already.

Pick 7: Memphis Pharaohs
Larry Moore: James Shepard - LB
Respected for his good behavior on the field. Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Will not have to come off the field for in obvious passing situations. Has enough quickness to pressure Quarterbacks off the edge. His college teammates all point to how smart he is. A player that fits their needs. The promise of a future star. This will be great for the franchise.

Jim Nox: James Shepard - LB
His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Definitely good strength for a Defensive End. Will shed blocks and occasionally bull rush smaller opponents. Not a topnotch forty time, but not bad either. Has enough quickness in his first step to do everything you ask of him. You do not need to tell him things twice. Very quick learner. Take the blue-chip player. Do not worry about sexier picks. He fits what you need and the quality is there.

Pick 8: BCFC Bears
Larry Moore: Aaron King - CB
This guy understands what it means to be a pro. They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

Jim Nox: Aaron King - CB
Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. Once this kid gets in the building, they will be set at this position for years.

Pick 9: Houston RoughRiders
Larry Moore: Thomas Heredia - SS
He is alert and makes smart decisions to developments in the play. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Jim Nox: Thomas Heredia - SS
Pretty bright kid. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Pick 10: Seattle Totems
Larry Moore: Ralph Bender - G
He takes care of his teammates. Most everyone who ever played with him, counts him as their friend. Good pass blockers are hard to find right out of college, and this guy is pretty good. Well schooled in the game, and it shows on the field. He fills a hole at the position. Blue-chip player. Will fit right in and start right away. Love it.

Jim Nox: Ralph Bender - G
Well liked in the locker room. Pass blocking against professional players makes for a difficult transition from college. But the tape indicates he will do well in that regard. Shows keen understanding of the game. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.
