Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Seattle Totems
Larry Moore: Rico Hamilton - CB
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. Here you have a guy, who really benefits the atmosphere in the building. Everyone wants to be around him. Few players will beat him in the forty. He will get a great chance to earn the starting job. He fits what they are looking for. He is a solid player. Cannot go wrong here.

Jim Nox: Rico Hamilton - CB
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. Here you have a guy, who really benefits the atmosphere in the building. Everyone wants to be around him. Super fast. Teams love that. Nothing helps a defense like not worrying about being beaten deep. Do not be afraid to draft a position of need here. This kid is well worthy of a pick this early. Perfect situation for him, and great fit for the team.

Pick 2: Houston RoughRiders
Larry Moore: Derek Avalos - DT
The guy has his head on straight. While not the strongest kid we have seen, his strength is an asset. It gives him the platform to be a great player. When he pins back his ears and goes for the passer he better be block. He has the speed to surprise Quarterbacks who look away for just a second. Solid tackler. Plug a hole in the roster with a great player. That is really what they need to do. This pick does it.

Jim Nox: Derek Avalos - DT
His college coaches talk highly of his work ethic. He brings decent strength to the position. Can collapse the pocket against weaker offensive linemen. Elite speed for the position. Not only will he force the QB from the pocket, he might also be the one to chase him down. He is a well developed tackler, this is something teams look for. It saves a lot of time when the fundamentals are good. They will be running to the podium for this one.

Pick 3: Toronto North
Larry Moore: Willie Dortch - G
This guy is built like a tank. He comes of the line with power and leverage on run plays. This is something that scouts notice. Pretty fast learner. He fills a need for them. Great pick here.

Jim Nox: Ashley Clough - G
Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. 'Team player', this is the correct term for him. He makes everyone around him better. Execution in the running game is something coaches have noticed about him. He blocks pretty well. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.

Pick 4: Nova Scotia Vikings
Larry Moore: Henry Scott - LB
Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. Strength is definitely one of his premier qualities. It will serve him well. Works well in the classroom. He fills a hole at the position. Blue-chip player. Will fit right in and start right away. Love it.

Jim Nox: Henry Scott - LB
Respected for his good behavior on the field. This young man can hold his own in the weight room. And he is strong enough to hold his own on the field as well. Clever young man as wellDo not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Pick 5: Windsor Gamblers
Larry Moore: Anderson Marquez - QB
This is the kind of kid you want to promote the game. Well behaved, loves the game, and respectful. He makes smart decisions with the ball. Good enough accuracy to play with the pros, and definitely the foundation to be great. Zips the ball around out there. It is all about fit here. Is there a guy at a position of need, worthy of a pick this high? The answer, obviously, is 'heck yeah'.

Jim Nox: Anderson Marquez - QB
His good natured behavior, even toward opponents have earned him some criticism, but also an awful lot of respect. Plays with intelligence. He always gives the receiver a chance to make the play. Sufficient arm strength for the pro game. People always say you should not prioritize needs over quality. That is not an issue here, they get to have their cake and eat it too.

Pick 6: New Orleans Reapers
Larry Moore: Terrance Schwarz - T
In the run game he blocks well, shows tenacity and opens lanes. This will benefit the team. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.

Jim Nox: Terrance Schwarz - T
If you go to his tape, you will se he run blocks very well. They will be running to the podium for this one.

Pick 7: Memphis Pharaohs
Larry Moore: Ashley Clough - G
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. In addition to his own role, this kid doubles as glue. He makes everyone on the field play as a team. Execution in the running game is something coaches have noticed about him. He blocks pretty well. They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

Jim Nox: Willie Dortch - G
Amazing strength given his young age. This kid can bench press a minibus. In the run game he blocks well, shows tenacity and opens lanes. This will benefit the team. He is alert and makes smart decisions to developments in the play. Are there other guys worth picking here? Sure, but none of them fit this well with what they need, and he is a solid talent.

Pick 8: BCFC Bears
Larry Moore: Wayne Jimenez - WR
Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. This is a kid who really contributes to the team spirit and the social cohesiveness on the team. Superb hands right there, can be counted on to make the play. Can change direction fluidly. He can do what they want. He will deliver results early. He fits a need. End of story.

Jim Nox: Jason Hopson - CB
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. Respected for his good behavior on the field. Fast enough to play man coverage. Can go toe to toe with most receivers. Fits the bill, great quality pick, and fills a soft spot on the roster. They should have no qualms here, run to the podium and get your man.

Pick 9: Seattle Totems
Larry Moore: Jason Hopson - CB
This guy understands what it means to be a pro. He is driven by the love of the sport. Rarely lets receivers get separation. Has nice speed. will be fun to watch. Do not fret. You need him, fans love him. Surefire pick.

Jim Nox: Mohammad Kelly - LB
His college coaches talk highly of his work ethic. Known for being a bit of a joker in the locker room. but in the good way, everyone smiles when asked about him. Strong enough to come of the edge in the pros. Rarely do we call defensive linemen sideline to sideline defenders, but this kid is so fast the term almost applies. This guy is available. This guy fills a need. They have to take him. It makes so much sense.

Pick 10: Houston RoughRiders
Larry Moore: Everett Jackson - G
Liked by coaches and teammates. He has shown in college he can hold his own in pass blocking. He keeps good leverage and will only get better once the coaches get their hands on him. A really smart kid. Blue-chip player. Exactly what they look for. Add a young talent to a roster thin at the position, a great fit.

Jim Nox: Everett Jackson - G
The guy has gets along with everyone. Good pass blockers are hard to find right out of college, and this guy is pretty good. Coaches love how coachable he is. Might not be what fans want, but there is a reason people are getting paid to make these decisions. This is a rock solid pick, and he fits what they are looking for. Fans will come around quickly once they see him play.
