NEW YORK -- The BCFC Bears' RB was a landslide winner Friday in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league. Weir won the MVP award by amassing season totals of 288 att, 1763 yds, 19 TD, 10 rec, 101 yds, 1 TD.

"I'm honored to receive this award because of the number of other worthy candidates who had some great years," Weir said. "It was just fun for me, truly, to watch them. I'm just glad to be a part of it."

The versatile Masterson had 101 tackles, 3 sacks, 6 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles with 2 defensive touchdowns, and was a key to the North' turnaround on defense. His role on the defense earned Masterson a majority of votes Tuesday from a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league.

RB Percy Weir (BCFC) wins Offensive Player of the Year!

NEW YORK -- That blur speeding away from opposing defenses and running off with the Wolverine Studios Sports Network 2024 Offensive Player of the Year award is Percy Weir. Considered one of the fastest men in pro football, Weir was uncatchable in racking up 1763 rushing yards on the season.

That earned the back 38 1/2 votes Wednesday from a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league.

"I kind of realize what I did and I feel like I had a dream season," said Weir, who scored 19 touchdowns.
