Jim Nox: Jose Toledo - LB
Not the strongest, but strong enough. Can maintain his leverage and shed blocks. Offenses will need to keep tabs on him. He will close down fairly quickly if left unblocked. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Pick 2: Toronto North
Larry Moore: Jesus Grenier - DT
This kid puts in the work. Known for being a bit of a joker in the locker room. but in the good way, everyone smiles when asked about him. Fast enough to blow up plays in the backfield if he gets immediate penetration. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.

Jim Nox: Jose King - T
Even if he is not the strongest, coaches like his strength. And he has enough of it. His pass blocking skills are definitely adding to his value. He will need to hold his own against fully grown men, and teams believe he can do that. His college teammates all point to how smart he is. They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

Pick 3: Memphis Pharaohs
Larry Moore: Jose King - T
He has sufficient strength to have a chance against grown men on the defensive line. Displays nice technique when blocking on pass plays. Keeps his balance and buys time for the quarterback. He was one of the smarter kids in college. Take the blue-chip player. Do not worry about sexier picks. He fits what you need and the quality is there.

Jim Nox: Heriberto McCurry - T
Here is a kid who no one doubts will put in the work. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. Coaches and scouts love his strength. You cannot coach strength. You either have it or not, and this guy has it! He is smart, and plays with good instincts. Might not be what fans want, but there is a reason people are getting paid to make these decisions. This is a rock solid pick, and he fits what they are looking for. Fans will come around quickly once they see him play.

Pick 4: Seattle Totems
Larry Moore: Jose Toledo - LB
Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Is speedy enough to stay on the field in passing situations. When the available talent fits what you need, there is reason to celebrate. They are getting a great talent who will serve them for many years.

Jim Nox: Michael Earnest - LB
He has sufficient strength to not get bulllied on run plays. Great first step. Defensive Ends with this speed tend to go high. The obvious reason is that teams love to get this kind of immediate pressure off the edge. Fits the bill, great quality pick, and fills a soft spot on the roster. They should have no qualms here, run to the podium and get your man.

Pick 5: Windsor Gamblers
Larry Moore: Heriberto McCurry - T
Due to his work ethic, this kid is very coachable. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. With the amount this youngster can already benchpres, he will only ever have to focus on improving technique. Bright kid, reacts well on the field. A player that fits their needs. The promise of a future star. This will be great for the franchise.

Jim Nox: Jesus Grenier - DT
Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. Known for helping out teammates, if they hit a rough patch, whether it is on the field or in their personal lives. Nice closing speed once he gets penetration. Forces QBs from the pocket. Are there other guys worth picking here? Sure, but none of them fit this well with what they need, and he is a solid talent.

Pick 6: New Orleans Reapers
Larry Moore: Mike Gonzalez - QB
He trusts what he sees, and what he sees is mostly right. His arm is good, but not great... yet! Solid talent that fits their needs. Really that is all there is to it. Perfect situation. Take the money and run.

Jim Nox: Mike Gonzalez - QB
He trusts what he sees, and what he sees is mostly right. Receivers need to be on their toes because he throws hard. With this kid, this is a need pick they will not regret.

Pick 7: BCFC Bears
Larry Moore: Malcom Murillo - LB
This kid is not afraid to work hard. This is a young man who has enough strength to shed blocks. Did I mention strength?. They need him now. Well yesterday actually. They will love him tomorrow. They will revere him by the end of his career.

Jim Nox: Malcom Murillo - LB
This kid puts in the work. Can bull rush smaller Tight Ends and Fullbacks when blitzing. Coaches love this kind on their Linebackers. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Pick 8: Houston RoughRiders
Larry Moore: Joseph Bradley - DE
This kid puts in the work. Strong enough to flatten smaller blockers. And strong enough to not be flattened by the bigger ones. Will not have to come off the field for in obvious passing situations. Has enough quickness to pressure Quarterbacks off the edge. You need him, just get him already.

Jim Nox: Joseph Bradley - DE
Known among his teammates as a hard worker. Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Will not have to come off the field for in obvious passing situations. Has enough quickness to pressure Quarterbacks off the edge. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Pick 9: Nova Scotia Sharks
Larry Moore: Jamie Kim - CB
Pretty smart. Nothing to think about here. Pick up the kid, bring him into the building, put him om the field.

Jim Nox: John Jackson - CB
Teammates look to him for leadership, and he consistently delivers. Nice instincts. Plug a hole in the roster with a great player. That is really what they need to do. This pick does it.

Pick 10: Toronto North
Larry Moore: Derek Stratton - DE
Definitely good strength for a Defensive End. Will shed blocks and occasionally bull rush smaller opponents. Some might say this is a 'need' pick, but we must remember, this is a really good player as well. He will contribute early and often. No losers here.

Jim Nox: Steven Whiteman - T
Not afraid to lead. Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. He is driven by the love of the sport. If you go to his tape, you will se he run blocks very well. Displays nice technique when blocking on pass plays. Keeps his balance and buys time for the quarterback. Reacts quickly and puts himself in a position to make a play. A player that fits their needs. The promise of a future star. This will be great for the franchise.
