Blankenship watch

A person familiar with the Totems says that they are increasingly worries about the off field red flags of William Blankenship - DE. With the off field issues of William Blankenship - DE boiling up again one has to wonder how long of a leash he has with the Totems. Moore and Nox Mock Draft

Pick 1: Seattle Totems
Larry Moore: Juan Taylor - QB
Should be able to take in a pro playbook. Makes nice throws. Delivers the ball with zip and purpose. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Jim Nox: Kenneth Meyer - TE
This kid is not afraid to work hard. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Pick 2: Nova Scotia Sharks
Larry Moore: Thomas Dorn - G
This is a guy who is already a pretty good blocker in the run game. He fills a need for them. Great pick here.

Jim Nox: Thomas Dorn - G
He comes of the line with power and leverage on run plays. This is something that scouts notice. Plug a hole in the roster with a great player. That is really what they need to do. This pick does it.

Pick 3: Toronto North
Larry Moore: Howard Burleson - DE
Has developed nice strength for being this early in his career. Not a topnotch forty time, but not bad either. Has enough quickness in his first step to do everything you ask of him. Great technique on tackling. Do not be afraid to draft a position of need here. This kid is well worthy of a pick this early. Perfect situation for him, and great fit for the team.

Jim Nox: Howard Burleson - DE
Definitely good strength for a Defensive End. Will shed blocks and occasionally bull rush smaller opponents. Will not have to come off the field for in obvious passing situations. Has enough quickness to pressure Quarterbacks off the edge. Coaches like his technique when tackling. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Pick 4: New Orleans Reapers
Larry Moore: John Burke - CB
Coaches are always looking to add more speed to the defensive backfield. This guy has enough to make an impact. They need players at the position, and good ones at that. He fits the bill, he is worth the pick. End of story.

Jim Nox: John Burke - CB
Speedy enough to cover. Will need to cushion a bit on the faster receivers, but they will account for that in the play design. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Pick 5: Windsor Gamblers
Larry Moore: Blaine Huskey - C
This kid puts in the work. He is driven by the love of the sport. Has sufficient strength to play with the big boys in the pros. They need him now. Well yesterday actually. They will love him tomorrow. They will revere him by the end of his career.

Jim Nox: Willie Ridenour - WR
Coaches love the leadership skills in this kid. Has the ability to change direction fluidly, which will allow him to work will over the middle. Clever young man as wellSome might say this is a 'need' pick, but we must remember, this is a really good player as well. He will contribute early and often. No losers here.

Pick 6: Houston RoughRiders
Larry Moore: Johnathon Johnson - CB
He will get a great chance to earn the starting job. He fits what they are looking for. He is a solid player. Cannot go wrong here.

Jim Nox: Juan Taylor - QB
He understands defensive schemes. Delivers the ball accurately. Nice arm, will be even better in a couple of seasons. Fans might not be on board with what can be framed as a need pick. But trust me once they see this kid play, they will be more than happy.

Pick 7: Memphis Pharaohs
Larry Moore: Willie Ridenour - WR
Teammates look to him for leadership, and he consistently delivers. Will dodge tacklers after the catch. Works well from the slot.Pretty fast learner. Blue-chip player. Exactly what they look for. Add a young talent to a roster thin at the position, a great fit.

Jim Nox: Frank Schott - DT
Can maintain his leverage and shed blocks. Not incredibly strong, but enough power that he rarely ends up on his back. Blue-chip player. Exactly what they look for. Add a young talent to a roster thin at the position, a great fit.

Pick 8: BCFC Bears
Larry Moore: Frank Schott - DT
Nice strength for his age. Will definitely help him in the pros. They almost have to make this pick. You do not want to look back in five years and see this kid on another team knowing he could have been yours.

Jim Nox: Michael Keeton - DT
They gotta be happy to get this guy. Such a talent and he fits their needs. I would imagine the war room is celebrating when they make this pick.

Pick 9: Seattle Totems
Larry Moore: Kenneth Meyer - TE
This kid is not afraid to work hard. Might not be what fans want, but there is a reason people are getting paid to make these decisions. This is a rock solid pick, and he fits what they are looking for. Fans will come around quickly once they see him play.

Jim Nox: Bryan Moya - TE
Knows what it takes to achieve success at any level. This is the kind of kid you want to promote the game. Well behaved, loves the game, and respectful. He fills a need for them. They will be happy to get him.

Pick 10: Nova Scotia Sharks
Larry Moore: John Nelson - G
Teammates look to him for leadership, and he consistently delivers. This kid is not afraid to work hard. Sportsmanship, love of the sport and respect, is what you get with him. Has sufficient strength to play with the big boys in the pros. Scouts love his understanding for opening running lanes in the running game. Fill a need, get a quality player, everyone wins! He will fit right in with the pros.

Jim Nox: John Nelson - G
Intangibles, leadership, what's not to love? Here you have a kid who puts in the work to succeed. He is fundamentally a good kid. You rarely see him commit stupid penalties. Even if he is not the strongest, coaches like his strength. And he has enough of it. If you go to his tape, you will se he run blocks very well. He can do what they want. He will deliver results early. He fits a need. End of story.
