NEW YORK -- The Edmonton Herd' WR was a landslide winner Friday in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league. Sharpe won the MVP award by amassing season totals of 61 rec, 1830 yds, 15 TD.

An unknown Herd staffer mentioned that they have had a PI following the new Seattle GM for some time, as they had heard he had secretly confiscated some personnel emails from GM PaulECee and heard they were targeting some of Edmonton's players. In something out of a John Grisham novel, it appears as though, that same private investigator, has video footage of Seattle GM, LeintyFresh, and Robert Nicholas signing a contract at a local Bob Evans days before the league allowed such deals. "We had plans to bring Robby back to his beloved Herd team," PaulECee mentioned to the media, When THAT team decided it would entice him with a Grand Slam breakfast. Charles Lay has announced his decision to retire from coaching. Lay worked latest for the Reapers as Offensive Coordinator. Rumours have it he is heading to politics.

Possible Holdout

Reports out of Edmonton have star wide Receiver, John Sharpe, apparently feeling a little disgruntled at the Herd Front Office. "We had a garbage draft, followed by a garbage Free Agency period.
